I am of the opinion that permitting hospitals to masquerade as non-profit entities is a joke, and should be revoked. My experiences at different stages of my life and training have strained the benefit of the doubt that they are good natured, well intended entities.

Not for the purpose of profiting investors. Are for the purpose of profiting the internal system and the highly paid administrators (and maybe sometimes some of the docs, mostly surgeons--good referral center for those with a productivity agreement.)
