Non-Rolling Admissions

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I know for a fact that Stanford has non-rolling admissions. I heard it directy from a guy on the admissions comittee. Trust me on this one! I don't know about anyother schools.

i think harvard, yale, columbia, penn, and northwestern are non-rolling. please someone correct me if i'm wrong!

I think University of Vermont only meets to decide three times a year, the first time being in January.

I just got a secondary from Yale and it says on it that they are non-rolling.

i think northwestern is rolling. they just dont start as early as other schools with acceptances.

Just add Cornell, calstudent, and I think that may be all of them

Call the admissions office and ask.
When I called to check on completion of my application, I asked when their interview process begins and ends, and if they have rolling admissions.

northwestern will accept people late november

Duke is non-rolling.

Did Stanford just switch to non-rolling? I am pretty sure that when I applied a few years ago they were rolling -- they fell very behind in reading applications, and almost no one who applied in the later part of the cycle was interviewed. So maybe they are non-rolling but just slow. 🙂

Sometimes I just look at the MSAR book and see if the first date of notification is in March or October. If the former, chances are the school is non-rolling (though there's not necessarily a one-to-one correlation).

could someone verify for sure then if cornell is rolling or non-rolling?

i would really love to put off the app till way later.
