Non-Science CC transfer

Sorry if this is not the right place for my post.

I have recently gone back to school and am strongly considering med school, the problem is I do not necessarily want to major in a hard science. As a community college transfer my time at a full 4 year is very limited so I would not be able to take to required course for med school there and would have to take them at my CC. How bad is this? Will this be something that will really poison my md app?

I actually did use the search function before posting. If you look through the search results they are mainly chemistry, biology, engineering type majors. All majors that require a person to take the calculus, chemistry, physics and biology classes that are needed for med school admissions just so they can be considered transfer admissions into a 4 year. While I on the other do not need to take any of these classes.

That is why I asked my question, defiantly didn't mean to step on any toes...

If you are currently at a 4 yr, try to take the classes there rather than a CC. Taking them at a CC won't break you though a few schools look down on them (BU, Tufts, a couple more). Try to do some at the 4 yr and the others at the CC if you must. Whatever you do, get good grades in these courses.

Regardless of your major, you still need to take the science pre reqs. As for what adcoms will think, there are plenty of threads about that.
