I have a very good relationship with the director of student involvement affairs at my school. This faculty member is also teaching me currently in a 2 credit leadership class. Could a LOR from this person count as a non science faculty letter or is this more-so a character letter? The reason I ask is that the LOR would likely be stronger than most of the other non-science faculty.

If they're teaching a class you're enrolled in that sounds like a non-science faculty letter to me

Yes. 🙂 Get it.

Question: Would a letter from a Computer Science professor count as a non science letter?

Edit: per my university's pre med advisor:

"A non science letter is any lecture courses that do not count towards the BCPM GPA. So if you are getting university credit for the Leadership class this would qualify."

Sounds like a definitive answer
