Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to look over my thread.
I'm going to keep this short and sweet and am looking for advice/info.
I'm currently a 1 1/2~ year student (I've transferred once) going the Pre-Med route. I've made it through the first couple chemistry/biology classes that Pre-Med requires and had no problems with those. I know this is what I want to do and believe I am headed down the right path to get there. I haven't taken the MCAT yet and am sitting at the 3.7-3.8 GPA range.
Here are my questions:
1) I don't like taking all the science courses like Analytical Chemistry, biological engineering, etc. that most science majors require you to take.
I've switched my major so many times (luckily I'm in the early stages so it doesn't hurt me) from Biology to Athletic Training to Psychology to my now finalized major Business Administration (I'm currently thinking of getting a healthcare admin. minor or something along the lines of that). It's a lot of schooling but I believe having a business background will help me out a lot if I want to run my own practice or possibly run a hospital.
Is the non-science major a good call? Opinions?
2) I'm currently also a collegiate football player that takes up most of my time. Take it easy on me, I'm a nerd as well 🙂 I have good time management and get all my things done. I love the game and I love what comes with it.
Does collegiate athletics look good on a resume/is it worth it to continue?
Thanks guys, hope to be a regular on this site!
