It sounds like you’re well informed. Where you decide to take pre-requisites is based entirely on your preference; just make sure to do well regardless of where you attend. Volunteering and shadowing is relatively straightforward and something you can setup easily since most hospitals offer these services. Knock everything out and do well on the MCAT.
