So here's the scenario: 50+ male (great health, fit and planning on working into early 70's) just finishing up an ob-gyn residency and now looking for employment. How does age/gender play into the equation? Job prospects the same as everyone else? slim pickins? More options rural? Is being an older male doc work to his favor?

It will be hard finding someone that age on these forums. I'd imagine most of the people here are 20- and 30-somethings. You'd have better luck directing that question to a physician/healthcare recruiter or job agency.

Good luck!
