I have a research position on campus, a leadership position in a club, and I will be taking the MCAT in April or May. I want to apply the upcoming cycle this summer. So I want to continue ECs along with some more shadowing since my cGPA and sGPA are in good standing and have all the prereqs done. Along with these activities I also have work. I could take some more upper division level sciences but not sure I can handle all of these things together. Is it bad if you take less than a full time course load?

It's way more important to get the best MCAT score you can, so I wouldn't worry about lightening your courseload for one semester.

Are you taking the MCAT in April or May? Lol. If you haven't signed up for a time yet, I would do it ASAP, slots are filling fast, at least around me.

I took partial loads each semester and only one class during the spring when I studied for the MCAT. I haven’t had a problem so I think you should be fine (as you are clearly filling your time with other activities).
