Non US IMG - friendly programs?

Could anyone here please mention any programs where they might have seen a non US IMG among the residents?

Found about 34 programs from EMRA + about 10 more with extensive googling.

I think less than 15 non US IMG's matched last year if you exclude the sponsored middle eastern candidates.

I know I'll probably end up applying to all programs that exist, cos non-US IMG's can't be choosers, but eras anxiety made me post this 😀

In emergency medicine? That's a tough ask. What are your numbers? 250-260s? Regardless, please apply with a backup.

Step 1 high 240s, CK mid 240s, lots of pubs and presentations, 4 sloes.
I don't think I can do anything more. 🙂

I’d look at El Paso, they take a lot of non us students and I think they’ll sponsor visas

You hit the nail on the head. Over the last 10 years there have been between 4 and 36 non US IMGs matching in EM per year. With such small numbers, each applicant's story is completely unique and not generalizable. This has precluded any useful "IMG friendly" list of EM programs being made. The only solution is to really apply everywhere unfortunately.
