How do I go about getting scientific research experence as a none science major/minor ? I am hopping to do research for credit semester but after speeking to some faculty in the Chem department, most professors seem to give greater priority to that of people who are interested in going to grad school or wanted to have some career in research...

... How do I go about this ?

PS--> My Major is EHS, I could do EHS Research some time in the future... but I realy want to experence research in chemistry.

Depends what school you go to. At my school most professors have positions available every semester and would like help from anybody regaurdless of major. Of course there are some who are popular and have an actual waiting list to get into their lab.

My advice is to find a Prof who is doing something that you find interesting. Do a little research about that topic and then speak to him/her about a position. They are much more receptive to someone who is interested in their work as opposed to someone who just wants to pad their med school app.
