Hello everyone,

I don't know if I should retake my MCAT. I really want to apply this cycle,
Here are my stats:
MCAT: 507
cGPA: 3.87
sGPA: 4
I have been a ICU nurse for 3 years, so bunch of clinical hours
Nonclinic volunteer: 60 hrs at local food bank.
TX resident.

I really want to go to TCOM, However, their MCAT average is 508.
All suggestions are appreciated

Average MCAT means half who are accepted have less than average. If you're a Texan, apply to all the TMDSAS schools. Your ICU experience will set you apart from the typical fresh college grad. Try to increase your nonmedical volunteer hours before submitting.

Just browsing these threads. I'm also an ICU nurse with stats very similar to yours. How's your cycle going? What was your school list?
