Hi so I'm having a hard time with life (aren't we all?)...
I went to a small undergrad and earned my biology degree. Towards the end of my time I got overly involved (I managed over 150+ student organizations) and my grades suffered. I finished with a (2.997 GPA). I was an ER scribe along with about 2 other jobs all while in school full time. I did some international work as a community health volunteer before starting a masters program at a competitive large university. Since enrolling in my masters program I have volunteered with a reputable local nonprofit, mentored through two different organizations for over a year, and maintained a stable GPA. In undergrad I made a B in physics I and C in organic I and then a Ds in physics II and organic II. Should I be worried? I have retaken organic I since coming to graduate school (passed with a B+) and taken undergraduate biochemistry (B). I am now in the graduate level biochemistry and will probably pass with an A- at the lowest. I think that my GPA will probably be around a 3.8 when I finish. Should I retake physics II and organic II? I was in the process of applying to medical schools this year, but decided to wait so that I could have this degree under my belt to show my strong academic performance. I just want to apply one time and one time only. I have not taken the MCAT yet and will be next semester when I don't have such a heavy workload to focus on. This semester I am in graduate biochemistry, physiology, and two psychology courses. Could someone provide me with some feedback? What do you think my next move should be? I'm really getting anxious about the process and feel like I'm waiting too long.
