So I am year 1 ( Yes, I wrote the post about depression, I moved on since then ) and I think that my learning speed is not the best it can be.
My problem is Anatomy : I learn the Hip Bone for an hour - I guess it's a matter of accommodation, but when it is time to worry that my learning speed is not fast enough ? I know it's not like I could speed it up by some magic, but I think there must be techniques that make the process as fast as it can be.

Another IMPORTANT question by the way : how important it is to make "great notes" ?
Like for example, I write my notes in quite a hurry, I know I can learn from them for the exam, because the knowledge is still fresh in my head, but will I have to use these notes again, after the 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year , or I will just throw away my notebooks from these years ?
I really want to know if I should prepare my notes for the long-term or not, because in the first case, I'd have to work more to make it look great, because I don't think I could learn anything from it in a few years from now. The aesthetic part of my note-taking sucks.

Thanks a bunch !

The only "notes" I take are when a prof says something will be tested in a certain way, or when they updated the ppt after it was posted. Notes are low yield.

We are forced to take notes for each seminar, unfortunately, but that is not so much the point - my question is if we will EVER use our notes from Year 1 again ?
