Normal schedule on radiology aways?

For those who have completed aways in the past, What is the schedule like? Do you usually work weekends?

My wife is considering flying down and visiting me during one of my aways but if I was going to be working the weekends, there wasn't much point in it. We need to buy a plane ticket now though.

I know it would be impossible to say one way or another, but if anyone could share their experience with this, I would appreciate it.

PS: The place I am rotating at is a private practice -oriented place (if that matters).

I didn't work a weekend shift at any of the 3 aways I did. They ranged from very busy (6 am to 11 pm) to easy, 9 am to 1:30 pm.
