Based on your post here it seems like your stats are 511 / 3.4? Your MCAT is at the median at those schools, but your GPA is way below the 25th percentile for all of them (and below the 10th percentile for half). Might have gotten screened out based on GPA...

So yes, this is quite normal.

But it's only August... Silence is the more common non-acceptance, but it could just be that the schools you applied to don't do 'the silent thing' and prefer to actually respond. I'd check the school-specific threads to see what others have said.

Based on the school specific ones, WVU said they respond in 2-3 weeks so that makes sense, albany seems to be rejecting a lot of people already, EVMS seemed to screen people out based on ECs, Tulane is already giving interviews for February
