North York is a part of Toronto, and housing prices are huge. Use Toronto to look at other costs of living.

North York housing prices to buy will be quite high, but rental units can be found at a decent price. Cheaper than downtown Toronto. Easily accessible by TTC public transit. Subway ride to downtown Toronto is approximately 30-40 mins if you live right on the line. Close to major highways (401, 407).
