Northwestern Computer Glitch?

Did everybody's Northwestern status page change--and show interview information on the left side instead of application process information? My page still has the dates my application materials were received, but the links changed.

Also, if you got an interview, did your status page list the interview date or does it still say "Thanks for applying..."?

i'm starting to think that this changed for everyone... i checked MSAR and they only interview about ten percent of the applicants... so it doesn't make sense that so many ppl have had status changes....

My letter got there around 8/10. My status was complete on 8/13 on their computer. Rejection letter is dated 8/20.

hey,

i also have that change, so it has info for interviews on the side, but no date or invite or anything. maybe theyre gearing up to invite? i dunno... i cant believe that any school would have its applicant site be the first place to post interview info rather than email or snail mail, but then again, that would be using logic...not a great thing to do in this process 😛

lets try to keep updating this thread and see what happens 🙂

so i called this morning just so that i could stop checking my NU status....

anyway, the lady who answered the phone was really nice but she said that no one was supposed to be seeing that info yet.... so i don't think it means anything

Now there really is an error - after logging in, you get a server automation error page. Maybe if I can fix their web server for them, I get an automatic interview?

Boy, we SDN-ers have some clout with adcoms! Yesterday UCI switched the "no action" message, and today Northwestern switched the interview thing! 🙂
