hey all
do u guys know if northwestern offers interviews to people who are applying to the MD/MPH program but haven't completed the MPH application yet.

my MD application was turned in ages and ages ago but i haven't heard from them. i have yet to turn in my MPH application and was wondering if that was the reason

thanks, and good luck

Hey rCubed,

I don't know for sure, but my guess is that they would wait until your file was complete (both MD and MPH) to review it.

I could be wrong though, I'd suggest calling them and asking if they review your file for an MD interview before the MPH part is received. In any case, send in your MPH part! Good luck, I considered applying to that program.

i only applied to the MD program, and i did get invited for an interview. while i was there and learned more about their MD/MPH program, i became more interested and asked if it was too late to apply. the assistant dean told me that it is not too late at all. they try to interview people for both programs at the same time for convenience, but she said i could wait to find out if i am accepted and apply to the MPH then and interview with the MPH program during the second look weekend. so based on how flexible things sounded, i would think they would probably interview you for the MD without worrying about your MPH file. you could always call and ask though.

Supposedly, only the School of Public Health will see your MPH App (As you send it directly to them). Also, they said that you can submit your MPH App a week before your interview date, so I don't think NOT submiting it is delaying your app.

Northwestern has been slow for a lot of people.
