stressedout,
I was also interested in this 1 year master at Northwestern. However, I don't know if you are aware that the program is very heavily research oriented. Along with taking either neuro or phy. sci. classes (depending on your emphasis), it also requires original research, a thesis and defending it. This is all within the scope of one year. Also, the program assistant told me that only 30% of the graduates end up applying to medical school while the majority go on to pursue a PhD or industry. So, if you are looking to improve your GPA, I would go a different route. For more info. on SDN about this program, goto the thread that's titled, "Are there any good master programs for me." I'm technically challenged and don't know how to include the link. Sorry. 😀
Best of luck!
