spoke to the northwestern coordinator today. she is not allowing any switches at the moment, because they are apparently overbooked with 33/34 people on both interview days (their limit was supposed to be 30 interviewees per day) 🙁

hopefully people who are double-booked or planning on dropping will be able to make a decision in the near future 😀 (pretty please? 😍 )

just fyi for the december interviewees- if you're looking for a hotel in Chicago, the best/cheapest option i found was the Downtown Red Roof inn- it's $100 (you won't find better downtown), but is literally 200 yards from the pre-interview social function at a bar and the same distance from northwestern hospital. so it's the cheapest, and also no extra time or cost for cab/train to the interview day.
