The only thing I have heard from NU was that they received my electronic application about a week ago. I have heard from others that they accept people in waves starting this month and have all decisions made by mid december.
 
Has anyone heard back from them?? 😕 I still got nothing, and the check of supplemental application fee was just deposited last week.

From going through that GPA, GRE sticky thread on the top, it looks like MOST people heard around the first week of december (ie NEXT week). Here's to hoping we all do too 😀
 
Classmate of mine got her (non-ED) acceptance phone call from NU a couple of weeks ago...supports the 'wave' theory...good luck, everyone!

I just received an e-mail from northwestern inviting me to an open house for accepted/alternative students, but haven't gotten any other answer to my application status....
I want to know if I should get excited! Anyone else in my boat? I called Jane (admissions lady), but no one answered.
 
Jane actually just called and said I'm accepted! I guess they left a voicemail on my cell phone which hardly ever works.... I'm just so relieved!!!!

Hmm... Mid-December is here and I still haven't heard back... Has everyone already heard something?
 
I haven't heard anything either.... It seems like a lot of people on this forum have been accepted... not sure what to think : (

I'm surprised as well. I thought I'd hear something (be it positive or negative) this week. To hear nothing is strange.
 
I called Jane last week and I was told that if accepted I will receive a call, if I was on the waiting list or denied I will receive an email from them. However, I haven't got anything yet.
So nervous!!!
 
I just got my acceptance yesterday via phone so I bet they are still in the process of contacting everyone. Good luck!
 
Still no contact here, but I'm leaning toward other schools now so I'm not so concerned anymore. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Just called Dr. Sullivan and was told (nicely) that if no phone call nor mail(email) by now, I will receive a rejection letter soon. Bad news for anyone who is still waiting, like me. But at least I got my closure. Good luck everyone!

Yup, I got my rejection letter today.
