Hey All,

My fiance just got an interview at Norwalk Hospital ( she just applied....kinda late but she suddenly discovered rads and fell in love). Any idea how it is?

Also, She applied recently to a bunch of community places outside if major cities in the northeast since her app was kinda sudden and her stats probably are not the best for rads ( State School, Middle of Class, around 220 on the boards... ). ANY advice or similar experiences with the rads match would be greatly appreciated. (Im applying to IM, so my life is MUCH easier in terms of the match...although afterwards you guys have the last laugh 😳 ).

Any advice or comments would be welcome.

Thanks !

I did not do a radiology rotation at Norwalk, but I did my medicine rotation there and discussed the rads program with the residents. Overall they were happy - the program has good teaching, collegiality, call was not too bad and they had a good board pass rate. They had PACS, and decent MRI and CT equipment. The hospital itself is large enough to get a diverse array of pathology and the subsidized resident housing is a really cheap for that area (but it has thin walls . . . ). I would recommend taking the interview {even though I will be applying there as well ;-) }.
