Hey All
This is my second time applying and I have not heard after my interviews from any school yet! I am very nervous right now about hearing at all 😡
Is anyone else in the same situation, and what are you doing? Are there people in their first or second round of applying and havent been accepted anywhere yet?? PM or respond

Don't lose hope just yet - there's still a lot of time left. I'm still waiting to hear back for interview as well (I also applied late - curses!).

I would suggest contacting the office to find out your status. As an applicant, you should know, or try to get someone in admissions what your weak point is (at least to the committee). Then contact the dean and address that weak point and mention that their school is your top top choice.

Then start a grass roots campaign and call everyone and their mother that you know attended the school to call up the dean and mention a couple good words for you. You never know what could happen!

Continue contacting them throughout the upcoming months (maybe once a week) to see if there are any openings in their class and if they would be willing to interview. I'm sure that you can hack it academically, so schools would much rather have someone who really knows and wants to become a dentist than a person who has stellar grades and goes thru the interview motions.

Well, I haven't heard anything from any schools as well, but that's mostly because I applied late August. I've only had three interviews so far, two of which are the most recent. I had only o ne interview before dec 2nd, but that was on the 25th. When did you apply? Just be patient...remember....you have until pretty much (at the latest) April...don't lose hope....there's still other people in the same boat as you 🙂

I applied at the end of Sep, and i had my interviews right before thanksgiving. And I haven't heard any thing neither. Don't forget that this is the holiday season, and people are taking off to do their holiday businesses. After Jan 6, you'll probably hear more news. I hope that good news coming your way soon.

I know exactly what you are going through. This is my 4th time applying before finally getting an acceptance. I was very ignorant the first couple of times, applying late with average stats. You are at an advantage because you are more knowlegeable than last year at this time on the application process. There is still plenty of time for interviews and acceptances this year. Most schools have sent only half the available spots out if not less. Don't get discouraged and do not give up. PM me if you want anymore info.
