I was planning on applying on this cycle but after looking at my resume/grades I think I am going to wait for another year.

I already scheduled on taking the DAT on 8/16/11 and I have been studying about a week so far 4 weeks more to go.

Should I cancel it and take it when I apply

OR

Should I take it this year (since scores last 2 years) and if I do well, cool
if I don't, I can take it again when I apply?

I heard some schools look at your previous DAT scores? I know USC only looks at the most recent one...

Helpful words of advice would be appreciated.

Take it and see where you stand, most definitely.

But do not take it lightly, meaning pretend this is your only chance to take the exam and work hard. You never know, you might destroy it the first time!

👍

why not take it early and be ready to submit very early the next cycle?
that's what i'm doing anyway.
