I have a B in orgo 2, and am VERY pissed off about it 😡 I got an A in orgo 1, and thought I could coast through the second semester, but I guess I was wrong. I nailed the lab, got an A, but the class is killing me! Those of you who are already accepted, what were your orgo 2 grades?

I haven't been accepted, just waitlisted, and I got an A. That's probably not what you wanted to hear.
I'm a big dork, I liked the class. Lots of memorization, but really interesting to find out why chemicals act the way they do. It's still a bit abstract at that level, but you do learn a lot of practical stuff.

Life's not easy.. Once you get into pharmacy school you will get used to the fact that getting A's just doesn't happen so easy anymore.

My grade for Organic 1 Lecture was a B; a B+ for Organic Lab 1. For Organic 2 Lecture, I got a B and an A- for Lab 2.

Thanx guys, I have to learn not to freak out over a B. Life's too short! I have an interview tomorrow with SJF so I'm going over everything in my mind, and sort of freaking myself out. 😳

B in Orgo I, C in Orgo II. Add that to the already impressive list of Cs I had before I took that class and what do you get...? A PharmD, in good time.
Just to say that grades matter, but you are a sum of all your parts (grades being only one of those parts).

A B in O-chem I and I think I'll have a B in II. All I need is a C to keep my seat.

I've absolutely hated O-chem and all its nit-picky little details. I can't wait until it's over. It doesn't help that both semesters have been 7:15 AM classes. I'm going to sleep for three weeks after Monday.

I can't agree more. I loved Ochem I, but Ochem 2 has turned into more of a memorization-athon of regeants and reactions. Only 2 more weeks to go for me 🙂 Hang in there everyone!

I got an A in Orgo I, now I think Im going to get a B in Orgo II. But Ive already been accepted, so I only need a C. Im in a solid spot right now though, our final test is next week and if I get a 30% or a 100% I will still get a B in the class. That should make studying this weekend veeery easy. 🙂

I got As in 1,2 and the lab, and this is my third time applying. What are the requirements of the schools you guys will be attending? Did you just take the prereqs or have a degree?

I have o-chem 1,2 (include labs), all are As. ..and I was top in these classes. 😀 I did not enjoy philosophy(2B's and C), theology(2C's)....and stuff, but science classes are my favorite.

Yes, Organic is a challenging class. Wait until you take Biochem, though. It makes Organic look like Kindergarten.
