Not enough shadowing hours

So I am applying this cycle, but I only have 40 shadowing hours or so. I plan on shadowing other dentists to reach about 80 hours. My pre health advisor told me to include those dentists on the application and write in the description box "I will be accumulating over blah blah hours" with the specific dentist. I will be submitting my application sometime early July.

You need to find more dentists to shadow and update your application and schools later.

i don't think you can put things for the future, but you can definitely update them.
