So I am graduating in a couple weeks with my bachelors in exercise science, and plan to apply to PT schools in the fall. I have to wait a year because I still have not taken Statistics, Physics 1 and Physics 2, which I plan to do in that time.

This summer I hope to take one of those classes, and then the other 2 in the fall.

My question is, are the PT schools going to care that I am currently still taking the last of the pre-reqs while applying? Also, if something goes wrong and I cannot take one this summer, will completing 3 in the fall (or 2 in the fall, and 1 next spring, worst case scenario), be unacceptable to them?

I found that it wasn't really a problem. I had two classes in progress and two remaining and had good fortune this application cycle. You might want to reach out to schools individually and explain your situation and ask their policy...?

I'm more concerned that you're taking Physics I and II during the summer. In general, you can have up to two outstanding pre-requisites when a school accepts you. You should still send your application in July.

Some schools accept you with more outstanding.

I had 3 outstanding and did fine. 🙂 OP physics in the summer sucks but as long as you stay on top of the work you'll be okay!!
