Not going to second look weekends?

What are some of the downsides of not going to a second look weekend? I plan on going to the schools that are within reasonable driving distance, but I don't think I can afford more plane tickets to revisit some of the other schools if accepted. What resources are available for people to make decisions without attending the second looks? And does not attending these make finding a roommate harder?
