Anyone else feel like it's a bad idea to not require verifiers for AACOMAS? I'm sure it is a small percentage but there are some applicants that completely fabricate ECs and get away with it of course.

Wouldn't be hard to fabricate an email address or leave a friend's number. Not much that can be done really if someone is dead set on lying...think that's why it's basically on honor system.

I think the interviewers can see through your lies during the interview. Either you report that you volunteered 2000 hours in 1 year or lie about an activity that you have nothing meaningful to talk about.

Generally if someone is going to fabricate something then they're probably a good liar and will survive an interview. The hours are easy to exaggerate too. But yea I guess that's just how the system is.... as long as most people are honest then the system works.
