So I had a B+ in stats this semester, but a week and a half ago my stats prof CHANGED HIS GRADING POLICY, and said if you get below a 60 on the final, you fail the class. Um...you can't change the policy into the semester??? So I may have actually just failed my stats class. Fabs. That'll look great.

On the plus I'm 99% positive I got an A on my cellular neurobiology final

WHAT!!!! I would go to some higher authority and notify them about such an extreme change made by the prof. At least if they don't do anything about it, you then have made an effort. Good luck!

I started my entire class on an e-mail campaign to the head of the math department and the dean. So far: nothing. Epic FAIL.

my email campaign worked. he may not get permanent staff 😀 AND I got a B- in stats (which math and me are mortal enemies) so YAYYYYYYY

Awesome! I'm glad you guys ended up all right in the end. Lalzi, good for you for taking initiative.

I had some panic myself at the end of the semester. I retook o-chem II because I got a C the first time around, but my semester did not go exactly as planned. I had a really good exam and a couple not-so-hot exams; I also missed a lot of class due to being sick and therefore lost participation points. I did about average on the final and panicked for several days until I got my grade, but, somehow, who knows how, I managed to pull off a B. I'm not proud that I did not get an A, but I would have been absolutely mortified to get another C the second time around.
