Hi, I was planning on taking calculus this summer and I indicated it on AMCAS. However, after realizing my AP Credit could fulfill the requirement I decided not to take it to save on summer tuition. Do I have to inform all the medical schools of this change? Or does it not matter if the schools don't require calculus or AP Credit can be used to fulfill their requirement? This was also the last class I needed to graduate so my degree will still be officially conferred in August as I indicated on AMCAS. I know AMCAS says planned/future courses are not binding but I was wondering if the medical schools cared. Thank you!

You send your final transcripts to the school you actually matriculate to. Ensuring that is properly communicated at the end of the cycle is what is important. There is at least 1 school (Rush) that requires the prereqs be completed before applying, so if that applies to you, ensure that your AP credit will be accepted.

Got it, thank you so much!
