Was wondering if there are other people like minded out there. Here is my idea.

I have one week to go and have taken the kaplan diagnostic and the midterm. I have heard of people doing practice tests every day before their real one. I am thinking about doing a different strategy since i have been studying for months and at this point I am certain i am taking the test and not pushing it back again. I think I am going to take one more test to check my timing and endurance and leave it at that.

I find that if I do a test that pretty much knocks a day of studying out for me. Wouldnt it make more sense to use those days to go through the books one more time to obtain a more solid level of mastery? Also doesnt getting "scores" back, potentially freak people out?

I think for me I am just going to take one more round through the books and leave it at that. I like learning from books and trying to grasp the big picture instead of memmorizing questions.

Any reason I should scrap this and take a battery of tests? Anyone use my approach and find it successful?

for me, I just study by getting as much as practice questions I could. I mean I can't just start off reading the book, cuz I would be staring at that single page of the chapter and not memorizing a single concept.

everybody's different

do what you think is best for ya!

cheers

for me i like to read books to get some foundation first then study by practicing questions, if i did something wrong which means that i didn't totally understand that conpcept yet so i go back to books or other sources to improve my knowledge. I think that just only when I see the tiny minie minus details and annuances in the questions that would solidify my knowledge and help me to understand more, i can't know how deep my understand is untill I stump on a hard question. but this is just me, everyone has different learning styles, try to see what works for you
I'm taking the dat second time in 4 days, i'll let you know if my method works??? I just wish I had my science professors here to ask questions, i barely asked anything when i took the prereqs back then....
