Not yet rejected from Weill

I log into the status checker and it still tells me to be patient, which I've been doing for since the fall. But it seems like massive waves of rejections have been going out recently, and I wonder why if they don't want to interview why the wouldn't just reject. Anyone else trapped in this same existential quandary?

i just think we were so super awesome that they didnt want to let us go until the very last second. (and they're only letting us go because clearly they know we are off to bigger and better places!) or so i like to tell myself. the close but no cigar category kinda sucks.

I was in the same situation and emailed them that I would be in NYC for another interview and the next day had an interview invitation.

Might consider giving it a try, even if there is really no other interview. Maybe it makes them think someone wants you and there's a reason to interview. It might also force them to make a decision.

seriously i have been complete at all my schools since august and there are some schools that have recently (jan) sent rejections to a lot of people on sdn and some of my friends at school but i didnt get one. but i havent gotten an interview either. and there is no official hold for these schools. its like what is going on with my app? did you lose it?

did this as well a week ago, and got a rejection email from them almost immediately.
