USMLE World allows notes (typed area), but the NBME's don't (or I have no idea where it is). What is the actual USMLE like?

What about the calculator?

I'm also wondering about this - on kaplan there is a cross out feature. I can't get it to work on usmleworld but was wondering if the actual test allows this? Its really helpful to be able to cross out the obviously incorrect choices.

You can crossout on world. Just click and drag on one of the answers.

I have a mac, I don't know if that makes a difference. I've tried clicking in all sorts of ways, and it doesn't work. Can we do this for the real exam?

The crossing out is just buggy I think, it doesn't work half the time. Maybe you can try another browser though and see if that helps.
It definitely has the feature though, but it's so buggy I kinda just gave up lol.

And yes the real deal should have the click-out thing, and it should work better than USMLE World's lol.

Actual USMLE does allow note-taking but I don't see when you would have the time to use it.
Calculator is there but again, not really used.
