You applied in early January....as in you submitted your OptomCAS or as in OptomCAS sent MCPHS your application in early January?

sorry for the very late reply. Yes OptomCAS sent my application to MCPHS in early january. Then MCPHS calculated my pre-requisites wrong cause they didnt understand the canadian credit system for courses. So the whole time it was on hold. Then i called them to clarify everything so my pre-reqsuisites are good now. This issue got fixed in mid febraruary. By that time, their class is probably already filled up or close to being filled. In march, i found out i got waitlisted without interview so i don't know what that means. Is that a rejection? If so, then why didnt they reject me instead of putting me on the waiting list? BTW, my stats are not that great, but still above the cut-off.

But some people got an interview and even accepted with the same stats as me. I am a late applicant so is the MCPHS class already full?
Is it really worth applying early next year which means wasting money and time? Going to puerto rico sounds better than going through all that again.

you won't know until you actually apply. besides, puerto rico is an established school and accredited, say what you want about it, it's still above MCPHS which isn't even accredited yet.... plus, puerto rico does skype interviews from what i read. so just apply, it's like $50; do you really wanna waste an entire year? your call.
yes that's what i'm saying, i agree with you. i already applied to schools with late deadlines, including puerto rico.
ahhh, my fault. i misunderstood. well, i hope you get into one this year as opposed to losing a whole year :/

MCPHS told me they have started doing interviews from the waitlist. has anyone received interview while being on the waitlist?
Has anyone else been extremely disappointed with the application process at MCPHS? I applied in January (OptomCAS sent it in then) and tried to contact the admissions department regarding a decision throughout and didn't receive an email. I knew they sent through the mail so I was waiting for a decision one way or another. I received a denial letter addressed to my name and address but the letter itself was for someone in a different state as well as a different program (Physicians Assistant Studies). I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Kind of disappointed with MCPHS for being careless and unorganized.
you should call them ASAP to clarify everything. thats weird they haven't replied back to you. i got emails and chat with them via phone and i aplied in january as well.
