man I heard the weather down there is really bad right now, hope the people who are interviewing this week don't get stuck in the storm.

good luck, and nova is so awesome...and my tour guide was super cute lol. she really made me want to go there haha.
but it's an excellent interview to go on. try and stay around and enjoy Florida

Their off-campus housings are so awesome!

I mean it's like a cool resort! :laugh: And, very affordable!
 
it seriously is one of my top choices, the only thing i am not a fan of is the ranking system (they give percentages which is basically like getting a grade)

i think that kind of fosters a more competitive atmosphere, and i hate the gunners in my classes right now. i mean i'm not even competing with those pre-meds and they try to screw me over

whoa that would make the class very competitive for their spots. Just like the undergrads... kk

I also think Nova is a good school and a great location to settle down.
 
I would have gone to Nova in a heartbeat if I had not been accepted to my state schools -- the tuition in Texas is just to hard to pass up.

On another note -- you all will love Nova. I thought the campus was great. I don't know if they still do this, but when I interviewed I was there on the same day a bunch of the DO and PA interviewees were, so I got to meet people other than pre-dents. I really liked the atmosphere of all the professional schools essentially under one roof. The facilities were really nice, and the students and faculty I spoke with had such wonderful things to say about the school. I know a lot of people on this board have mixed feelings about Nova, but I really enjoyed it when I was there.
 
First off today 10/7 is a nice sunny day and we haven't heard of a storm coming through.


Second from what i have heard the off campus housing sucks balls. It is like a 1k a month and they make you sign every guest in, and lock you in when storms get bad. There is a ton of affordable housing right next to campus. I live closer then the "on campus" housing, and i pay about 750 so it is cheaper off campus
