Hi everyone!

So, I have a question. I am currently in the process of getting an associates degree and becoming a Certified Medical Assistant. I have been looking at Nova's DO program and I saw that they had a dual admission program for the program. I am thinking of applying the year after I graduate, but I am kind of worried. I have had a few Fs and Ds in this program (retaken the Fs; I am able to graduate with the Ds), and I have a 2.97 GPA currently. Would it be wise of me to just do an undergraduate at a college in my state and wait to apply until I've done my bachelors degree, or should I try to get my GPA up and not worry too much about my grades and apply?

Thank you guys!

Go get your undergrad degree OP and improve that GPA. You'll prob be in a better position experience wise to start the challenge that is being a med student with that background.
