Hi recieved an interview on 2/9, which I am assuming is the first batch of interviews...is that good? I know that since they are on a "rolling acceptance" but I dont understand why they would put everyone who is granted an interview into a 3+ hr. (8:45-12) ordeal if everyone's chances are the same (less rolling). Is anyone else going then? Are all the interviews that long? A friend who is a director at USF said that if they are going to go through all that then they must be pritty serious about those interviews...the early interviews at least....not sure what to make of being considered so quick...sent app. on 1/1, request for supplementary on 1/13 and got interview granted on 1/26 for 2/9...dont want to be over confident at all...

What campus: west palm beach or davie? I had an interview in early Jan. and those 3+hrs are basically just waiting for the other candidates to finish their interview. It goes in alphabetical order (at least in my interview).

PGA...ohhh that would make sense why its last so long. Do you presume that there are earlier interviews than 8:45?

are u in grad school now? How did your interview go?

I had an interview in early October 08 and was accepted in November before thanksgiving (I believe I was the 3rd or 4th batch of interviews). the interview itself was only like 20-30 minutes. Went by super quick and thankfully I had 3 friendly female professors interviewing me. The bulk of the 3 hours is taking a tour and waiting for your interview. I would give you tips on the interview but everything is contingent on who interviews you. The only thing I can really say is don't BS because everything you say, they question your answer to make sure it's solid and not BS. So I had no set of questions. They pretty much only drilled me on the topic of whether or not I can handle pharmacy school.

Good luck.

I had my interview Dec 8 and was accepted Jan 8. The interview was very relaxed as I had the best interviewers. The best thing to do is to be honest, if you are caught in a lie or any exaggeration you are done! Also, do a mock interview with someone who is intimadating(sp?) so you know how to answer basic questions about yourself. Just a heads up though, I know everyone just wants to be accepted into a pharm school, but the pga campus sucks, all you do is watch a screen of the prof teaching in davie!

Nova is my top school. I simply like the atmospere, and people. I wish the best for you on the interview. I suggest you to feel confident even if you are the last one to be called in. They like it how you look happily while answering quetions.

I also received an interview for 2/9 at 8:45am, are you getting a hotel? I live 4 hours away! 😱 I'm interested in sharing and splitting cost of hotel, if interested reply..

I had an interview early Dec. and was accepted Jan 6th. Nova is a great school. I did a semester in undergrad at the main campus and I loved it. Can't wait to be in HPD with my accepted class. Good luck to all who are still applying. The interview is straight forward, just be yourself! 😀

What day were you there? I'm guessing we will hear in the next week. Do you know how they will contact us? I keep checking my email and mail.

Good luck!

honestly my interview felt like an interrogation..😱..it seemed that I couldnt say anything right. I heard that they try to put you under pressure but wow. My interviewers were an indian-asian woman and the a man..the director (i think) He seemed to approve of my responses but...I dont know.I am trying not to think about it and just wait to see if I am accepted. I hear that the acceptance letters are certified mail and rejections are reg. mail...

Im starting to think they did that on purpose. Definitely a hardcore interview and it definitely threw me off off for a second.

heh my interview was the same way except i had three women and one of them was the indian lady. i have heard from students that her class is really hard and that she's mean. ironically, she was incredibly nice to me during the interview but they all kinda drilled me with questions. questions that were unnecessary and were really just asked to see me squirm. but that's okay i totally bombed a question and when i was done with my interview, i thought for sure that i was not going to get in. i truly thought i messed up every chance i had. that i sounded like a fool. i really was truthful about everything and put myself on the table. but fortunately i was accepted in november 08 🙂 so stay positive.. you never know what they're thinking or saying when you walk out of that room.

Sulilina - I felt the same way about my interview! It wasn't bad, but I was so in awe that I was finally there that I forgot all the important things I wanted to say to the ad com. lol I felt like I might've blown my chances too because I applied late during the January rush when it is supposed to be hard to get in. I still haven't heard anything, but I guess there is still hope = / At least I didn't get a rejection yet lol
