NOVA interview, but it seems late

Hey guys,

I just got offered an interview for NOVA, but the earliest available interview date is in March 2015 for the 2015 school year! Is this normal for NOVA? I was very excited reading the email, but now I don't know what to think after making my interview date.

If you're really considering the school and you like it then go, if you don't have other interviews then go. If you don't have an acceptance by then, then go. If yes to mainly the acceptance question at a school you liked - then forget it. Doesn't mayter the

Oops, doesn't matter the date although pre December are usually more noble. Just worry about whether you've got enough other interviews or if you've got other acceptances you'd prefer to accept rather than nova. Good luck

Say i get no other interview invites, is having that late of an interview a bad thing? I get that its obviously better than no interview, but is it unlikely that I will get into NOVA with that late of an interview date? The way I'm taking it is they offer these late interviews to maybe fill positions from accepted applicants that chose a different school. Maybe I'm over thinking it. I was way too excited when I got the email so quick (finished applying to a few schools including NOVA just a few weeks ago), then was a little bummed that the earliest interview was in March.

Then no, nothing wrong with an interview that late. Attend it, there's plenty of people that get accepted that late. There's nothing wrong with it, I have yet to receive a post december interview but if I hadn't gotten acceptances then for sure I'd attend, because that means they're interested. Regardless of date. Think about it this way, they've gone through so many applications and yours was worthy enough to make it this late in the game.

You can change the date with NOVA. I'm sure you can get a December or January interview. Just stalk the site after december 1st

Are you sure on that? On my email from them it says not to add multiple interviews, so if I do add a second is there a way to cancel the first? Or do I have to cancel the first then try to hurry and add the earlier open one?

You can definitely change it! Originally my interview was scheduled for December 3rd and I constantly checked the site and got it moved to October 17th! Yes, you can cancel your original date. My advise is to immediately grab an open date when you see it and then call Nova and let them know that you wish to cancel the original date you scheduled. Good Luck!

I'm a 100% sure because several of my classmates have been doing it lol

I wish I had known to do that so I could have heard back from them by now. My interview is on December 10th

I canceled my interview on 12/11 so hopefully that helps someone out!

My original Interview date was Jan 25 and I contacted the office and let them know that I would accept an earlier interview with 24hrs notice. They called me Oct 14 for an interview Oct 16. So yes, there is hope for an earlier interview. Just be persistent.
