Nova Interview Info

I recently interviewed at NOVA and while I was interviewing apparently the secretary told the individuals waiting that,

"In about threee weeks the ADCOM will hold the first meeting, after that point you can call and I will give you an unofficial answer on if you are accepted or not so you don't have to wait until Dec. 1"

Did anybody hear this directly, I am not sure if I should believe them or not.

I don't want any opinions, just facts please.

Nova cheated a little bit last year too. I remember people getting acceptance letters the last week in November. No complaints from me though 🙂 They seem to understand what we're going through!

If this holds true, I would still take my other interviews. Nothing is a done deal until it's on paper.

On my AADSAS status it says "Invited for Interview" for Nova. I haven't received email or real mail yet. Should I worry?

They will send you a letter within two weeks.

i was at an interview today and there was an interviewee who interviewed with nova last year. she told me her interview last year was in oct. and at that time she was told by nova that they had already given out their primary seats and that she was basically interviewing for the alternate list. has anyone else heard this??? my interview is in the middle of oct. and i am very worried about this sentiment. the interview has been scheduled for over a month!!!!

i am going to be hella pissed if i go down there and get this statement thrown in my face 😡 that is just cruel and ridiculous!!!

that is what i was wondering 🙄

i have been on 2 interviews now and there definitely seem to be some weird competitive vibes going on, not cool!!! can't people feel secure enough in themselves to be "normal"? i feel like i am confident, but i am also a very friendly person, like i joke around and try to talk to everyone. my feeling is let the best candidate get in- if that's me, great; if it's you, then hopefully you deserved it and weren't one of those rude and annoying people. these people that get all huffy and weird just make me ill.
