NOVA interview Info!!

I am expecting a version of yes/no, like a major hint or start looking for houses etc. Not just a bland statement that tells me nothing.

I interviewed on Oct. 4th. They didn't tell me point blank that I could call so I am hesitating. I would love to hear about other's results though.

Also, date of the interview doesn't have to do with how much they value your application per the school. It is just first come, first serve with a few exceptions for cancellations.

Some ppl w/ Feb. dates were saying, "I guess they don't value my application." But I was told when I asked that the date assigned has nothing to do with where an application is on the totem pole. It is just a matter of when the application was processed.

when i interviewed nobody said anything about calling to find out your status, so there ain't no way in h*ll i am calling to find out b/c with my luck i'll hear, "...and who told you you could call to find out the status of your app.?" and i'll be all like, "some guy i know off the internet named 'dddsmack'" 😳

I am still calling as this school is not at the top of my list, and I am sure I will getr multiple acceptances. So once I know I am in for sure at nova I will cancel all other interivews and that will free up some space for other predents. So I am really taking one for the team.😀

Urm...no, not really. Maybe "decent" but not "great". I am sure there will be spots available as it is a private but not as many as Dec.

How do you get Nova's secondary? i submitted all my materials months ago and haven't heard anything about a complete application. got an email saying my LOR's were received but thats all...should i just call them and see whats up?

Definitely call them... I hadn't gotten my secondary and I caleld them and they said "we emailed you weeks ago" but they didn't. So they may have thought that they gave one to you. Once I called, they sent it to me right away. You might want to do that.

I talked to Su-ann on Wed, it took me 4 days to get a old of her, but the best time to reach her is in the morning....

I haven't gotten a letter yet, but AADSAS said I had an interview at Nova. So I called them this morning to ask what day it was, and it looks like 11/29. I have to call again once I receive the letter to confirm the date, but do you think 11/29 is too late for a Dec 1 decision?

Good question. Mine is 11/30 and I wondered that same thing. Looking at last year's predents.com there were plenty of acceptances after Dec. 1st, and some soon after. My guess is that it's all good.

No, I haven't gotten the unofficial answer yet. I have been touring the country this week spending more money I don't have. I plan to call again tomorrow.

You are totally fine. It isn't a Dec 1 DECISION.... its more like when then can start giving decisions. You actually got really lucky to get a november one so late... must just have been some openings. I got my interview a few weeks ago and its in January. So, in short, you are fine, congrats!
