NOVA interviews and acceptances

From what I have read, it seems that a lot of people seem to think that an interview at nova is basically an acceptance. So I was wondering if anyone has gotten an interview at nova and been rejected (in the past or present) or knows of someone that this has happened to.

I was a late applicant for Fall 2007 entering class and was declined a spot. It does happen. 🙁
