I just found out from NOVA brouchure that the expenses for D1 sutdent is $11,500 and there's NSU specific labtop computers

does anybody know what kind of personal instruments and the laptop should we purchase? Do we have to buy them through the school?

Thanks

They pretty much give you everything you need. You don't have a choice. I believe you get the laptop at orientation, probably the same for the instruments.

Although $11,500 seems very steep, i'm still SOO pumped to get the instruments and laptop. And to second what jyc said, you definitely need to buy their laptop because it comes preloaded with their programs and stuff. I have heard however, that some schools give you a choice between laptops (which can vary in price) but you still must buy one from them. In addition, I heard all study material is found on CD books. Is this true?

Yep, I have also heard that all textbooks are electronic, which is awesome 'cause it makes searching for something as easy as pressing ctrl + F!

at the interview, i heard D1s saying they are thinking about switching to mac!, they've used Dell and HP and no one liked it.
if i get in, you might have to get used to mac!! lol
