Nova open house

I just received one of those deceiving mass mailings about the open house at Nova. I am wondering if it would be worth my while to go. I live in California but would do fly out if it would somehow improve my chances of getting an interview. Does anyone have any thoughts?? My, I sound desperate. 8)

no i dont think it would sig. increase your chances. only fly all the way over there if you have lots of extra cash.

If you are planning for the trip, you can call the adcoms and say you will be in the area, and if they are planning a interview you could ask for it to be around the time of that open house. Otherwise, I wouldn't do it unless you have the extra cash laying around. Good Luck with your applications
