still looking into post baccs
😕 , anyone know anything about Nova's program? Do they look at the post bac students favorably as Creighton does? Any info welcome

Hope u have 20K+/year for tuition on a post bac program that doesn't guarantee anything. They don't really favor their post bac students as much as other schools because each year they only get a handfull of students in their postbac program and most are trying to get in the med program. Trust me on this, go somewhere cheaper. Nova doesn't even favor their undergrads unless your in the dual admit program. Its a private school and they are all about the money.

I happen to go to Nova and I'll beg to differ about the whole favoring the undergrad thing. Once they know your face at Nova, you just increased your odds times 10. Nova is pretty much about how many people know you...😀

I agree, Nova is DEFINATELY about who you know.

I had a friend take their prgm, it is suppose to be rigorous. I know they got several, he took the one where you take all the 1st year courses with the dental students and if you hit proficiency marks in all the courses (B or above) you are pretty much a lock for acceptance.

Just as a side note, i did the masters prgm for pre-professionals at UMDNJ which is one you should also look at, although i don't know where you live. My science GPA was on the low end (3.1), but i took the prgm which allows you to take 2 classes with the dental students as well as some graduate level courses and 1 research rotation. Afterwards, i got accepted to every school i applied too, as opposed to the first time where i did not get accepted anywhere. This shows me the prgm works.
GOOD HUNTING!
