I thought it was only right share. It's still relatively early. Don't lose hope. Best of luck! Thank you for the "congrats". I haven't made a decision yet. There's too many factors to consider. Soon though.

Awesome pics!

The library on campus is simply amazing!

Yeah, I was impressed.

hey,
thanks for the support and i'm definitely not losing hope; i'm a competitive applicant but maybe i gushed over NSU-COM so much im my application that the adcom just figures that they can hold off on me cause i'm a sure thing for them:laugh:
problem (actually, a very good "problem"🙂 ) is that i've already been accepted at another med school and in about a month i got to put down the deposit money so i'm just a little frustrated cause it doesn't look like i'll get to interview at NSU before the mid-dec deadline.🙁
anyway, thanks again for the support and all the best on ur decision. :luck:

wow nova is b e a u t i f u l. if anyone out there has more pictures, please post them up.

Granted I haven't seen too many other unis it just looks like south florida to me.😛 Still a top choice for me due to the fact my living expenses would be next to nothing as well as me getting a 15 percent discount on my next car and weekends of fishing/sailing with my brother if I get the time.lol

if you haven't done so already, make sure to call in and check if your application is complete. I was in the same boat as you. with three acceptances well before mine at NSU, I was a bit scared since I did not have the money yet. Thank God Dhelia called me bout 4 days after the interview (it was the same week the adcom met) and let me know I was accepted. Good Luck!!!

thanks and congrats on getting accepted:clap:
living in south florida as we do i guess makes it easy for us to know just what a great rep NSU has in the community and how COM has contributed to making DOs well known; just yesterday i saw a car with the bumpersticker
"I LOVE MY D.O."...very cool. I've also seen it in Spanish which goes: "YO QUIERO A MI D.O." which is super cool because its a play on words and it sounds like "I love God."👍
i am complete there but i will be calling this week just to confirm also i'm following others' advise and i intend to update my file soon; i've now shadowed post-application 5 different DOs and want to let them know so that they can see i'm really serious about osteopathy and NSU-COM is not a fall back position but becoming a DO and working in south florida is really what i most want to do.
congrats again on getting accepted to NSU-COM Class of 2011. :hardy:

A letter of interest may be advantageous. Go for it!

I already did 2 weeks ago and still nothing; do u think i should send another in a few weeks or is it just overkill?
I was leaning more towards regularly updating app as i accomplish different things, e.g., shadowing for 100 hrs, etc.

I would send a maximum of one update per month. If NSU is where you want to go, then its not an overkill. Make them count! 🙂

Cool; that's actually my plan.
For me NSU-COM is #1 and is well worth any extra effort.
Thanks again for the support and advise.👍

im surprised u didnt take any pics of the Terry Building. (Health Professions Building) Thats where ur gonna be all day everyday

Man... those pics actually make me jealous. 🙁

I'm sorry, but Medical school isn't supposed to look that nice. How will you guys ever be able to concentrate? 😛

The Terry building is really nice!

However, I love the way the business school's building looks. Just they way they have all the plants arranged and the marble columns...it's just an amazing facility.

At any rate, the campus at NSU is absolutely beautiful. I have to admit, that seeing palm trees is such a huge stress reliever for me! (Yeah, I'm a northerner 🙂)

Someone should post pics of the Terry Building (part of health professions division). The lobby looks like a cross between a museum and hotel lobby.

Not sure if I had any of outside the Terry building, but here is one from the museum in the lobby.
