Hey! Would be super grateful for any advice on the situation.
Currently, I have been accepted and have put down a deposit for Nova KPCOM (DO), and San Juan Bautista MD school in Puerto Rico. I am on the waitlist at EVMS and honestly not feeling very good about that, and am awaiting a decision from PHSU STL campus.
I am really grateful to have had options this cycle but am having a really hard time figuring out what to do with my 2 options right now, SJBSOM and Nova. The issue is that SJBSOM has had their accreditation put on probation (they sent out an email towards the end of 2025) and that is making me feel a little uneasy about going there. I know that people usually say choose the MD school but I'm wondering in this case if Nova KPCOM is the better option or if anyone has advice on the situation.
I know I am still waiting for PHSU STL, but I want to start thinking about worst case scenario if I only have these two schools and what I should do.
