I don't know how accurate this is but I was told that the chances aren't very good right now...

I would say keep hope alive, but I think I've become a realist at this point...I am preparing for the next cycle and if I do get in somewhere before then, it'll be nice but I haven't got my hopes up too high...time to look forward.

🙁 I was also wait listed, I was wait listed on February 24.... I guess I will start preparing for the new cycle as well....

Don't be so sure to jump the gun just yet. Although the class may currently be full, the second deposit date has not yet arrived. I'm almost certain that not everyone will place the second deposit and some seats MAY open up. If they tell you the class is full after April 15 deposits, then yes i might worry a bit, but until then... keep your fingers crossed.

This isn't really a credible way to gauge the number of spots available, but the 2014 Nova FB group is still only at 49 members 😛. For comparison, the group for the 2013 class is currently at 166 members.
 
Anyone had any communication with Nova this week? Or gotten a call or anything?

Dr. Lippman called me on Tuesday to offer me a spot!! I hope he does the same for all of you and I get to see you in July!! :xf::xf:

Did anyone from wait listed people hear anything from Nova recently? Rejections? Acceptance?
 
i am wondering the same...has anyone been in contact with the school lately? i have been trying to reach someone all week but can't seem to get through
 
its highly doubtful any good news will be coming before april 15th. and ya, its dang near impossible to get an answer when you give them a phone call. Just hold tight people.

i called nova today..looks like they are going to have an adcom meeting tomorrow. so i wouldn't expect any calls going out today.

thx for the info..did you ask how many seats they are expecting to fill by any chance?

so i guess they might start calling tomorrow.

that makes sense, since deposits are due today; they'd probably wont have final numbers on open seats until the end of today.
 
I got a call from Dr. Lippman today! Didn't get a chance to pick up as I was at work; left the worst message in the world as I got interrupted...

Loved NOVA; let the haters hate, but the staff there were some of the warmest and friendliest I've met. Bummed but I'm going to have to decline as my deposit for UCLA just went through; UCLA is way cheaper, closer to home...oh and its an ok school as well😀.

Hopefully someone on here gets my spot! Goodluck all.

is there any particular reason you thought they were meeting tomorrow rather than earlier? did they say they would offer more acceptances tomorrow?

YES like I said I was waiting for my UCLA Deposit to go through before I withdrew from all my other schools. I had work all day today and only got the message later on. I am calling NOVA tomorrow to let them know as well as all my other schools.
 
yes there is a reason why i thought that. the person i spoke with over the phone told me that so i figured i would believe it. silly me. i am not sure if more acceptances are going to be given out..i hope there will be....:xf:

so... i am guessing Nova is pretty much done calling people if they called thursday and friday..

ok... this is just too much for me... im just too anxious.. im constanly waiting for a phone call... im sure im pretty much done if i don't get a phone call this week..... i hope i get something tmrw or the day after tmrw...

does anyone know the exact date that they are done with calling people??????????

I dont think they will have exact date. They will call people up until day of orientation if spot opens up.

so.. yea we dont have great chance getting into NOVA...😡
 
okay... no calls today.. shoot.
 
has anyone been able to get through to admissions lately? are they done giving out acceptances for the week? i have been trying to get through since monday..no luck
