ne21 know the national board pass rate for NOVA?

^^^When I interviewed at Nova I remembered the assistant dean saying that last year's board pass ratings increased significantly from previous years to 89%.
Oh btw, how did your interview go? What were your impressions of the school?

hey! my interview went really well. I loved the school the minute I saw it. Everyone there was nice, and just made the whole experience a really good one. So far, I've seen PCO and NOVA, and Im leaning towards NOVA if I get accepted. Im supposed to find out Tuesday...

One of the main deciding factors for me is the board pass rate, and I cant really seem to get too much info about NOVA. All the dean said at the interview was that only one person failed last year....or something like that. i was impressed with the dress code policy.. the facilities..the eye clinic..

also i think the location of the university is close to evertying.. grocery store, mall.. airport.. it would be easy for me to get around since i probably wont be bringing a car there..

what were your impressions?

I really like the school. The only thing that concerned me going into the interview was the school's low board pass ratings of the past. But I heard that they changed some things around in the program to really help out with the board scores. Last year's pass ratings was 89%.

I also like the facilities and everyone is so nice there. It seems like a place where they really help you get the most out of your education. Also, you can't beat the weather there. Well, maybe I'll see you come August.

 Maybe - I'll let you know today if I got in.

so which school will u choose?

so which school will u choose?

i dont know yet - i also have an interview at NECO on March 19th. I think I am interested in their O.D/MS degree.. so I want to get some more information on that..

... i really dont know yet! :scared:

i liked NOVA better because I feel it is more accessible, and there are more things to do around the city.. but PCO has a good reputation of having a high board pass rate, and excellent clinical exposure.
