November started out great for me, folks, after 2 years of trying, I have a first acceptance to OHIO STATE.

I know there is plenty of good news for all of us, so hold tight!

Ugh. After a great September, October was a complete, depressing letdown. No new invites. Still nothing from my state school 😡

I guess I shouldn't complain - if I get no other invites and get turned down from VCU I guess I'll have to go to UNECOM in Maine and.. dang.. be a doctor. 😀 (can you just hear the sarcasm? I'm really pretty excited about UNECOM, just a tad depressed about the lack of anything else.)

The waiting is just beginning, ShyRem, but we all know that in here! 😛 VCU still has a lot of acceptances to give out, and since you interviewed early it must mean they like you.

No news for me, but sometimes no news is good news. I've been on one interview this year, and am anxiously checking the mail every day. Today it didn't come 😡 because the people who make the important decisions decided to waste time this week replacing a bridge near my house. It's a very small bridge, hardly big enough to park a car on, but they've been messing around with it since Monday and it still looks the same. But I guess the post office can't make it through to my house, even though the road is a circle. 😕 Maybe it will be here tomorrow morning.

Hello there, re-application buddies...

I can't believe it's November already!! Eek! October was great - 3 interviews, 1 acceptance so far. 1 more interview slated for late Nov. Luckily, no rejections just yet. Actually, I haven't heard much of anything. There has been a major lull for a few weeks now...is anyone else getting ancy? When do we start hearing more?! Last time I applied, I heard from Wash U in December, and they interviewed me in January. St. Louis in Jan = not fun. But hey, I'd go back anytime if they would interview me again!

Well, happy November, everyone! I hope it's a very productive month for all of us!!! 🙂 🙂

ladywolverine - way to go with georgetown! i actually did the special masters program last year and interviewed for georgetown med but did not get in. i'm interviewing again in about a month, so hopefully this time will work out better! i'd really like to get in. wish me luck. 👍

3 interviews so far, and no rejections yet. I am certainly doing a hell of a lot better than I did last year, but the anxiety is killing me.

I think the anxiety and waiting is worse for us reapplicants because we went through the same thing last year and were hopeful until all the rejection letters finally came in. So it's extra painful because we remember the defeat and resignation that happens when you realize you will have to reapply.

No news for me, but I'm trying to be optimistic. Supposedly there are a lot more applicants this year so schools are taking longer to get to everyone.

Still no secondary from my other state school. I'm not holding my breath though. They rejected me last year. I don't know if I would go there if it was my only acceptance this year.

(wait a minute, what did I just say? 😱 that I wouldn't take an acceptance gladly and with an ecstatic face? Who am I kidding? I'm begging for an acceptance! )
